Phoenix Scholtz made his second appearance for Northern Ireland Under-19s in their friendly with Hungary on Wednesday evening.
Scholtz, wearing the number 2 shirt, began the game at right-back but couldn’t prevent Northern Ireland falling to a 2-1 defeat at Inver Park in Larne.
This was Northern Ireland’s first match in a four-team preparation tournament ahead of the UEFA Men’s Under-19 European Championship 2024.
Next up for Scholtz & Co is a game against the Czech Republic on Saturday, KO at Inver Park is at 7pm.
