MEET THE BOARD

Jim Mann.jpg

Jim Mann

My name is Jim and I’m passionate about sport and a lifelong football supporter of my local team, in my home town, Kilmarnock where I became Chairman, and then MK Dons as a Season Ticket holder from their arrival in the City. I’m a lifetime member of MKDSA, a Friend of the Trust for MK Dons SET and one of the sponsors of the annual Academy Showcase fixture.

John Brockwell
I spent my teenage years in West London during the time a local club was being blocked from promotion to the Football League. The local papers were full of the story at the time and I adopted the club as my non-league team. When they moved to MK it became a no brainer for me to support the club and I’ve been a season ticket holder ever since. I was one of the 30 original founders of the MKDSA and was involved in the committee for 11 years. I’ve also served on the National Council of the Football Supporters Federation (now the FSA) and was a Trustee for MK Dons SET for six years.

Carol Head.jpg

Carol Head
I’m Carol Head and I sit in Club Red. I come to all the home games with my son Matthew, we also try to visit the grounds of teams that have moved into our league as part of our away travels. I helped to establish MK Special Dons, which supported young people with extra needs, that team is now part of the MK SET and I have a special interest in enabling football for all.  My Dad says football is in my blood as I was born nine months and two days after England won the World Cup in 1966.

John Samuel.jpg

John Samuel
My name is John Samuel, I’m 68 years old and have been a football fan all my life. I’ve held a Season Ticket at the Dons since day one and quickly became involved in helping to set up the Milton Keynes Dons Supporters Association. I served on the committee for 11 years as Treasurer and I rejoined the committee 2 years ago where I held the role of Vice Chair. I am delighted to be part of the supporters’ board as an MKDSA representative and will give it my full commitment for my term.

Tina Kenny.jpg

Tina Kenny
I’m Tina, a Glaswegian and a lifelong Season Ticket holder who sits in the East Stand. I attend all home games, many by bicycle, and a large number of away fixtures. I have been known to bring my loppers and cut down the overhanging brambles in the narrow lane the supporters walk down to the stadium.

David Wright.jpg

Dave Wright
My name is Dave Wright, I currently sit in Club Red moving from the family corner some years ago where the support and love for this great club all began. I have been a football fan since I first kicked a ball aged 3. I have been a Season Ticket holder for 11 year’s experiencing the changes at the club first hand putting me in a good position to represent you the supporters in putting you points to the Board. It is a privilege to be nominated to the Supporters’ Board and I will do my best to implement change relating to supporter issues and concerns.

Bailey Bedorough.jpeg

Bailey Bedborough
I’m Bailey, I’m a passionate Dons fan who wants to help get your voice across to the club, I’ve supported the Dons from a very young age, going to the football can be a family affair, travelling with the Dons home and away with my family has allowed me to connect with the people I love most. Being a Dons fan for this long I’ve been here through the highs and lows, so I know there’s no better feeling then when this club is heading in a positive direction both on and off the pitch.
This is why I wanted to be part of the Dons Supporters’ Board to try and keep the Club on an upward trajectory. I understand that on the pitch we have a very limited voice but, I believe that we can have a say off the pitch to get the club going back too where we should and deserve to be.

Ciaron Flanagan
I have been a follower of MK Dons since the arrival at the hockey stadium all those years ago. However, it was not until 2014 that I became a season ticket holder in block 15 in the community corner. I joined the MKDSA committee this year as Secretary and I also look after community and EDI, along with being part of the Away travel team. I am a player sponsor for our Women's team, and It is a privilege to be one of the two MKDSA members on the board. I look forward to representing our fans and working with the club.

Ed Finn
I’m really excited and proud to join the Supporters’ Board. Having been a season ticket holder and travelled all over the country following the Dons since the move to MK 20 years ago, following the club is a big part of my life. I have professional experience in public event planning and working with community groups, so I hope I can bring some real value to the Board.
