Loan round-up: Kemp returns to the scoresheet

All the up-to-date news on MK Dons’ loanees…

Dan Kemp nets his sixth goal for Hartlepool United, Tommy Belnnerhassett earns a point with Potton United and Charlie Waller receives his fifth start for the Diamonds.

Dan Kemp has been involved within seven out of the total 12 goals scored since his arrival at Hartlepool United, which also equivalates to 58% of goal contributions following the forward’s transfer.

Kemp has been influential to the Pools’ hopes of surviving their relegation battle that it seems almost abnormal when he’s not involved within their goalscoring. The Sky Bet League Two side are currently within the drop zone, but just two point separates them and safety.

Matt Dennis, as well as Sutton United planned to play Grimsby Town in the previous weekend of fixtures. However, due to the Mariners’ FA Cup duties this match was rescheduled for a later date.

Potton United claimed a 1-1 draw in their Spartan South Midlands Premier Division clash against Cockfosters. Tommy Blennerhassett started for the sixth time on Saturday, within those six appearances he has found the back of the net twice.

The young striker, alongside the Royals place 11 within their division and could rise a position if they claim victory against Biggleswade.

MK Dons defender Jack Davies was an unused substitute in Oxford City’s most-recent victory over Chestnut.

Charlie Waller was named within the starting XI for AFC Rushden & Diamond’s league fixture at the Trico Stadium. Although the fixture ended in a narrow 1-0 defeat, the Dons defender was awarded with his fifth start.

Joel Anker also made an appearance from the bench during the Diamonds’ clash against Redditch United. The home side’s late winner was the decisive factor between the two sides.

Junior suffered a 2-0 defeat alongside his loan club Bedford Town. The Eagles haven’t seen a result in their previous seven matches, but Gyamfi will look to turn fortunes around as they prepare for Alvechurch.

Ronnie Sandford and Hertford Town’s scheduled fixture against Welwyn Garden City was postponed following a pitch inspection on Saturday morning.

Tring Athletic were forced into an early substitution, which saw Liam Mann take to the field 30 minutes following the starting whistle.

The Athletic were on course to claim what would be the third win in their previous five matches, until a last-minute equaliser from Baldock Town snuffed out those hopes. Tring and Liam Mann will look to bounce-back on Saturday.
